They’ll observe that real superheroes don’t wait for someone else to save the day. They answer God’s call to do what’s right, and they persevere through faith, despite who doubts or mocks them.
This interactive book encourages children to add to it their own experiences and stresses the importance of doing one’s own research, using common sense and questioning things that don’t make sense, It is written for children and meant to grow in maturity with them. By the author’s own admission that she could be wrong about her interpretations, the book subtly reminds the reader that it’s okay to question and be questioned.
The book ends with fun activities for the child to complete along with a few pages for the child to write down their own thoughts or results of their own research. What a fun way to be a part of history!

This book is intended to be read with an adult-in-charge. While it is written for children, some of the subjects and ideas become more complicated as the book progresses and may lead to questions or conversations that are best handled by a trusted adult.
Please take a look through the book—and the accompanying website (in the works)—before reading them with your child. Every child is different, and you know your child better than anyone. Some information may be perfectly appropriate for one child but something you would prefer to discuss later with another.
You’ll also notice that the language changes as the book progresses. It begins by speaking more directly to children, gradually becomes less child-focused as the material becomes more complex, and ends with games, quizzes, and activities that bring the fun back to the kids.
And grown-ups, don’t stop reading when the kid talk begins! There is information here for you, too. You may just have to tolerate a little silliness along the way.
